The Little Trees weekly outdoor playgroup takes place in the secret wood behind The Deer Park, and aims to help you and your children connect with nature through the seasons. There is lots of freeplay to enjoy, including the mud kitchen area, hammocks, nest swing and den building and invitations to learn and explore using natural materials.

The playgroup is best suited from age 1 up to age 5. However, even babies and the parents/carers can benefit from all the joys of being out in the woods. There are also sensory activities suitable for all ages available each week including wooden toys and curiosity basket.

We will often have a natural craft or tool work activity for those that would like to have a go, and later bubbles and group story time.

Older siblings are welcome on inset days, as well as home school families with children of multiple ages, and we aim to have regular bank holiday and school holiday specials with activities designed for the older ones too (up to age 12ish).
